The destroyed evidence included 500 kilograms of marijuana, 800 grams of heroin and 11 kilograms of methamphetamine.
Tangerang Police chief Sr. Comr. Riad said that the 500 kilograms of marijuana was seized in a raid that took place in Serpong, South Tangerang, on Feb. 2. The methamphetamine, worth Rp 22 billion (US$1.83 million), and the heroin were seized by airport customs from smugglers.
The evidence was burned in an incinerator and witnessed by 18 captured suspects related to the drug seizures.
