Model and actress Kimmy Jayanti said she had her dream come true by playing a sniper in her latest movie Guardian, which is directed by Helfi Kardit.

'€œI'€™ve always dreamed of playing a girl with a gun. In this movie, I became Kimmy with the gun,'€ she told kompas.com in Jakarta.

Kimmy said she liked to play tough women in her movies. '€œI want to play strong women and hold guns; in Guardian there are a lot of tough women,'€ said the 22-year-old.

She began her career on the catwalk and then made her debut in the film industry with I Know What You Did on Facebook in 2010, which earned her a nomination at the Indonesian Film Festival.

Guardian, the cast for which also includes Sarah Carter, Nino Fernandez, Belinda Camesi and Tio Pakusadewo, will premier on April 30.
