ritish singer and songwriter Jess Gylnne plans to hold hands with activists at a cancer awareness campaign in Jakarta next week.
The singer who just finished her tour promoting debut album I Cry When I Laugh will be in town on Oct. 9.
Tribunnews.com reported over the weekend that Glynne, who rose to prominence after featuring on Clean Bandit's 'Rather Be', would visit two Asian countries on her the upcoming trip.
'A live concert of Jess Gylnne will be aired on RCTI on Oct. 10,' said Martha Serepine from Warner Music Indonesia, the company organizing her trip.
Her single 'Hold My Hand' topped world charts and has been on heavy rotation in Indonesia since its release in August.
'The music video on YouTube has been viewed over 40 million times and Indonesia sits at number 14 in terms of number of viewers [per nation] with 2 million views, half of them from Jakarta,' said Martha.
Glynne will be involved in #HoldMyHandForHope, in which over 2,000 people will hold hands at Central Park Mall in West Jakarta.
