Christopher Nolan, known for his sci-fi and action films, is set to direct '€œDunkirk,'€ a historical drama set in World War II.

In a statement by Warner Bros., the movie set during the evacuation of more than 300,000 British troops in Dunkirk, France, will begin shooting in May using many of the real locations of the true to life events.

Nolan will direct the film based on his original screenplay, which he will also produce with his wife Emma Thomas.

The movie will be shown in theaters on July 21, 2017.  The film will be released theatrically on IMAX, 70mm, 35mm and all other screens. (kes)(+)
