Guess what?: Nadila Karina turns down singing jobs

J

AKARTA: Not to be distracted from her ambition to become a top actress, Nadila Karina has refused offers to become a singer.

'€œI want people to know me more as an actor,'€ she said as reported by kapanlagi.com on Sunday.

After being absent from the silver screen for two years, Nadila returned last year as a lead cast member of horror film Tuyul: Part 1.

The film, which was written and directed by Billy Christian, won the Best Horror Feature award at the Winter Film Festival in New York City last month.

Nadila was also nominated for best female supporting actor at community-based film awards Piala Maya last year for her role in Monty Tiwa'€™s Aku, Kau dan KUA (Me, You and the Marriage Registration Office).

'€œI recently received another job offer as a TV program host but singing is far beyond me,'€ she said.
