JAKARTA: After recently graduating with a master’s degree at the University of Manchester in the UK, singer Vidi Aldiano says his dream is to continue studying for a PhD at Harvard University in the US.
“I really want to continue my study and my dream school is Harvard. If I ever get accepted, I want to continue my PhD there,” the singer said as quoted by kompas.com.
However, Vidi said he had not yet decided what field he would focus on and was not planning to continue studying in the near future. This is because his father wants him to start a family first, before pursuing his education further.
“A PhD will take around four to five years so my dad advised me to start a family first before thinking of going to Harvard,” he said. — JP
