Actress Marissa Nasution says that she’s confident with her birthmark and scar on her legs, refusing to undergo laser removal of them
ctress Marissa Nasution says that she’s confident with her birthmark and scar on her legs, refusing to undergo laser removal of them.
“The marks that you see on my legs are actually a birthmark, as well as a scar that was left from an accident I got into a couple of months ago,” Marissa said as quoted by kapanlagi.com.
She was referring to a motorcycle accident she had two months ago.
“I’m all healed up and I can wear heels again. I’m not traumatized,” says the former MTV VJ who had to use a crutch after the accident.
She says some people have told her to laser off her scar and her birthmark, but she refuses to do so because she sees it as a gift from God.
“A couple of people have asked why I didn’t just laser off my birthmark. But it’s a gift from God, so why would I get rid of it? I love it. It doesn’t make me any less confident [in myself],” she said.
