KPU Manokwari commissioner Tedy Pattikaihattu said Sunday that the commission had worked with various disabled groups during the booth preparation process, including the Netra Mandiri Foundation.
Based on data from the KPU Manokwari, there are 175 disabled voters registered in the regency.
Tedy said equipment such as voting assistant tools for the blind had been prepared from last week.
“We have also prepared vehicles to pick them up and take them to the voting booth,” he said as quoted by Antara news agency.
Tedy said the commission started to distribute ballot papers throughout the regency on Monday. (evi)
