resident Joko “Jokowi” Widowo has long been known for the signature impromptu visits, or blusukan, he makes when he can find the time in his already frenetic schedule. Not only on weekdays, Jokowi has often spent weekends doing blusukan.
His blusukan have now been archived into a digital map containing locations and results of the visits. The digital map can be accessed via the President’s website: PresidenRI.go.id or click here.
The many dropped pins on the digital map of Indonesia show that Jokowi has visited areas across the whole Indonesian archipelago.
Upon clicking the dropped pins, visitors can see photos and captions or brief reports describing Jokowi’s official activities during the visits.
The digital map also shows islands that have not been visited by Jokowi during his three-year tenure, including the Aru Islands. (dmr)
