View all search resultsThe Jakarta Police’s general crime division arrested two men for allegedly developing porn websites.
The men identified only as BEP, 27 and H, 32, had allegedly made seven porn websites, said the division’s deputy director, Sr. Adj. Comr. Ade Ary Syam Indradi, on Friday.
Ade added that the suspects allegedly developed the seven websites in Cambodia in June 2017 to circumvent the IP address.
“The websites attracted many ads. They allegedly received a minimum of Rp 1 million (US$71) per ad, earning around Rp 20 million per month,” said Ary as quoted by tempo.co.
The suspects will be charged under Article 29 of the 2008 law on pornography and Article 45 of the 2016 law on information and electronic transactions. (iwa)
