he Jakarta Post has decided to retract the article “World Bank official drowns at Bali beach” published on July 22, 2018 on our website, after hearing complaints from members of the bereaved family who experienced trauma following the accident. With this decision, the Post adhered to the principle of minimizing harm as enshrined in the Press Council guidelines. We hope that with this decision we are helping the family to cope with their loss.
