Whenever actor Ciccio Manassero goes out of town, he always allocates time to buying jerseys of local soccer clubs.
“I often buy jerseys of a city; I think it has become my new hobby. Let’s say I’m in Medan, then I will buy the PSMS Medan jersey,” Ciccio told kompas.com.
Ciccio said the hobby had grown out of his love for soccer.
“I’ve loved [soccer] for a very long time. I am a fan of Inter Milan since I was four years old. My dad is Italian, and he is also a big fan of Inter Milan,” the actor explained.
Ciccio’s collection includes jerseys of Surabaya’s Persebaya, Jakarta’s Persija and Medan’s PSMS. His favorite jersey is one from a less-popular soccer club, Persiram of Raja Ampat, given its resemblance to Inter Milan’s jersey.
“It’s blue and black, just like [the one of] Inter Milan,” said Ciccio.
