The bag was allegedly stolen on Tuesday at 6 a.m. when a replenishment operator was about to deliver 19 bags of cash to the loading office but discovered that one was missing, Gambir Police chief Adj. Comr. Johannes Kindangen said.
The operator loaded the bags at PT Advantage SCM before handing them over to the money loading division. He counted them but when the bags were being handed over, the number of bags did not match.
"We are investigating this case along with the Central Jakarta Police," Johannes said as quoted by tribunnews.com. "We also have questioned some witnesses." (eyc)
