The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) summoned on Wednesday former Bandung mayor Dada Rosada as a witness in an investigation into graft surrounding the Bandung city administration's land procurement for green open space in 2012 and 2013.
Dada, who was convicted of graft five years ago, was scheduled to be investigated as a witness for a suspect in the case, former Bandung City Asset and Finance Management Agency head Hery Nurhayat.
“We scheduled an investigation to question [Dada] as a witness for [Hery] in relation to the graft case,” KPK spokesman Febri Diansyah said as quoted by Antara news agency.
The KPK named three suspects in the case in April last year, including Hery and two former members of the Bandung Regional Legislative Council (DPRD) from 2009 and 2014, Tomtom Dabbul Qomar and Kadar Slamet.
They were accused by the antigraft body of abusing their authority during the process of land procurement for the project.
