Bumilangit Cinematic Universe to feature new films, superheroes

From comics to screen: Gundala, an Indonesian superhero created by late Harya Suraminata aka Hasmi, has attracted many fans since the comic books were released in 1969. The hero will play on the big screen under the direction of writer and director Joko Anwar.(Courtesy of Bumilangit Studios)With the premiere of Gundala just around the corner, entertainment company Bumilangit and production company Screenplay Films unveiled seven upcoming superhero films on Sunday that include Sri Asih starring Pevita Pearce, Mandala starring Joe Taslim, Godam starring Chicco Jerikho and Si Buta dari Gua Hantu (Warrior from the Ghost Cave).In addition to the films, the companies also announced the cast lineup for other characters in the Bumilangit Cinematic Universe, including Nicholas Saputra as Aquanus, Dian Sastrowardoyo as Dewi Api, Zara JKT48 as Virgo...
