Bank Danamon and BNP complete merger

Customers of the merged bank are now able to enjoy Bank Danamon’s vast array of products and services as well as its national network.

ank Danamon Indonesia (Bank Danamon) and Bank Nusantara Parahyangan (Bank BNP), a member of Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group (MUFG) have completed their operational merger.

Customers of Bank BNP are now able to enjoy Bank Danamon’s vast array of products and services, its national network of 464 branches and 1,400 ATMs along with access to more than 60,000 ATMs through the ATM Bersama, PRIMA and ALTO networks across 34 provinces.

In addition, customers have access to the full suite of Bank Danamon’s digital banking services, including internet, mobile and SMS banking. “We remain committed to being the leading financial institution in Indonesia with a significant market presence. Our purpose and goal is to care for our customers and society at large, enabling all to thrive, grow and achieve prosperity, Bank Danamon said in a statement.

Danamon said it also looked forward to embracing the opportunities as part of MUFG Bank as the largest bank in Japan and a leading financial institution in the world. Danamon also hopes it will be able to leverage MUFG’s strengths, expertise and network to serve our customers and to enable it to grow and deliver long-term value to all stakeholders. (hen)
