Habibie admitted to hospital, under intensive care

According to Rubijanto, doctors will not allow anyone to visit Habibie so he can rest.

ndonesia's third president Bacharuddin Jusuf Habibie is under the intensive care of the Presidential Doctor Team at the Army Hospital (RSPAD) Gatot Soebroto.

"With respect, we confirm that Bapak BJ Habibie is now under the intensive care of the Presidential Doctor Team (TDK) at RSPAD Gatot Soebroto," Habibie's personal secretary Rubijanto said on Sunday as quoted by kompas.com.

According to Rubijanto, the TDK will not allow anyone to visit Habibie so he can rest.

"The family is thankful for the thoughts and prayers received. [We] are praying that God heals him so that he can continue his good work," Rubijanto said. (gis)
