Christmas is around the corner, and it’s time to search up and down for gifts for your loved ones. A few presents may come to mind right away, but some more suggestions couldn’t hurt, right?

Bath and facial products

These toiletries will be loved for their timeless appeal. Who can resist a basket of fragrant bath gel, facial foam and body mist? Embrace the new year with tranquility as you soak in a luxurious strawberry-scented bath courtesy of The Body Shop’s strawberry bath bomb, which is included in the Christmas gift value special alongside other products such as hand cream, shower cream and shower gel.

We can’t forget facial care either, and that is why the limited edition sets from Kiehl’s are not to be missed. These include a limited edition tote bag, a pouch, a complete set of Kiehl’s renowned moisturizers, face serums and much more.

Books

Get your beloved bookworms something to complete their towering collections. One book to consider is the sequel to André Aciman’s memorable Call Me by Your Name, titled Find Me. It tells the story of the separation and reunion of two young people. There is also the sequel to Margaret Atwood’s The Handmaid’s Tale, called The Testaments.

If you are up for some science fiction tales, goodreads.com is back with the 2019 readers’ choice awards. The nominees include Amal El-Mohtar and Max Gladstone’s This is How You Lose the Time War, Ted Chiang’s sci-fi short story collection called Exhalation and many others.

Besides holding annual readers’ choice awards, goodreads.com also encourages readers to set yearly reading goals by deciding the number of books they’d like to read in the year — a new thing to try in 2020.

Scented candles

Like their aromatic oil counterparts, scented candles release aromas when lit. They diffuse wellness-nurturing elements into the air to give the body an extraordinary sense of calmness. Scented candles and aromatic oils may also help you overcome insomnia due to their relaxing smell. According to a group of scented candle enthusiasts in their blog called candlejunkies.com, lavender, bergamot and rose may help you fall asleep.

Even if you and your loved ones do not suffer from insomnia, you can buy scented candles to match the occasion. Yankee Candles offers two special scents that will compliment the Christmas season. “Sparkling Pine” is a woody fragrance with hints of bergamot and lavender, while the “Balsam & Cedar” candle will make you feel like you’re walking through a fresh winter forest with juniper bushes brushing against your coat.

Planner

Welcome 2020 productively with a yearly planner. Imagine all the new activities and plans that will fill the year; you and your loved ones may need to jot them down. Planners are easy to find. Cafés such as Starbucks are currently offering a 2020 planner with certain terms and conditions. You can also buy them from bookstores.

Matching mugs

Buy matching mugs to coordinate with your loved ones, so that even when you are not together you can still remember each other with your morning coffee!

Whatever you want to give your loved ones this holiday season, what matters most is the thought you put into it. So show them you appreciate their presence in your life while welcoming the new year together. Happy holidays!
