4-month-old baby who previously tested positive for COVID-19 in Kulon Progo, Yogyakarta, has recovered from the illness following two weeks of intensive treatment at the Wates General Hospital.
Kulon Progo administration disease prevention and control head Baning Rahayujati said the baby's most recent COVID-19 test had come back negative.
"It means that the baby has recovered from the disease," she said.
Wates Hospital chairwoman Lies Indriyati said the infant was the only confirmed COVID-19 patient in the regency so far.
"Thank God for the negative result. The baby was the only COVID-19 positive patient [in Kulon Progo]," Lies said, as quoted by kompas.com on Sunday.
