Kompolnas members will be tasked with assisting the President in determining the direction of the National Police, as well as providing input regarding the appointment and dismissal of the police chief, according to a written statement issued by the Presidential Secretariat Press Bureau on Wednesday.

“All Kompolnas members were elected by the Selection Panel helmed by Suparman Marzuki,” the statement read.
