NE Championship is gearing up for "ONE: A New Breed II", a prerecorded event held in Bangkok that is set to premiere on Friday at 7:30 p.m. Indochina Time. It's a battle of seasoned fighters ready to advance to the next stage in their careers, all eyeing the elusive ONE World Title.

The six-bout event is to feature the region's finest mixed martial arts (MMA) fighters, including Indonesian wrestler-turned-MMA athlete Eko Roni Saputra, who is currently training at Evolve MMA in Singapore.

Eko has said he could learn several new techniques from watching the event.

On the main stage, four-time Muay Thai world champion Pongsiri of Thailand, fighting with the PK.Saenchai Muay Thai Gym team, will be facing Sean “Clubber” Clancy of Ireland, the World Boxing Council (WBC) MuayThai super lightweight world champion.

Clancy is also debuting on Friday in the ONE Super Series featuring the world's absolute best talents of the striking arts. The bantamweight division is stacked with talent, including Eko’s teammate and divisional titleholder Nong-O.

“Fantastic main event. I’ve long appreciated the striking arts, and this one between Pongsiri and Sean Clancy is going to be absolutely epic,” Eko said in a media statement released to The Jakarta Post on Tuesday.

“Both men are at the top of a very deep bantamweight division, and whoever wins here is going to advance forward. ONE Super Series has so many amazing fighters and it’s so entertaining to watch everyone jockey for the top position,” he continued.

Pongsiri has just recently challenged the ONE World Title. He wants nothing more than to get right back into title contention, and a win over Clancy could get him there.

The next bout is a fight between two-time Muay Thai world titleholder Superlek "The Kicking Machine" of Kiatmoo9 Gym, who claimed both titles at the renowned Lumpinee Stadium, and Fahdi “The Gladiator” Khaled, a World Muaythai Council (WMC) Intercontinental Champion and a man on a mission.

“Superlek is one of the most beloved Muay Thai fighters in Thailand. He’s young and still going very strong in his career,” Eko noted.

In the women’s ring, Thailand Professional Boxers Association (PBA)  champion Supergirl of team Jaroonsak Muaythai will be meeting Argentinian Muay Thai champion Milagros Lopez, fighting under the banner of Sangtiennoi Gym in Pathum Than, central Thailand.
