ini recently launched a new sporty Mini GT model, combining the Mini 3 Door Cooper S platform, the long history of the Mini 1275 GT prototype and the distinctive Mini “Go-kart” experience.
The new car, available in 30 units, will be available for exclusive online pre-orders in Indonesia starting on June 22 through Mini Indonesia’s official website.
“The Mini GT Edition is ideal for drivers who seek a unique compact premium vehicle experience combined with an exciting driving experience,” BMW Group Indonesia director of communications Jodie O’Tania said.
The Mini GT Edition’s exterior consists of a John Cooper Works Aerodynamic Kit, a 17-inch John Cooper Works Track Spoke with Run-Flat Tires and a GT Edition Decal Exclusive, additional LED front lights and a piano black-colored grille and door handle, among other features.
The car comes with a 2.0-liter Mini TwinPower Turbo, allowing the car to accelerate from 0 kilometers/hour to 100km/hour in just 6.7 seconds with a peak speed of 235 km/hour.
Mini Indonesia is also launching an Instagram campaign called #WeAreTheCoopers, inviting all MINI car lovers to post pictures of themselves doing inspiring activities during the COVID-19 pandemic.
