ood Doctor Technology Indonesia (Good Doctor), together with the Jakarta administration, has launched the PSBB OK! (Free Postal Services) as an initiative to support the implementation of the second phase of large-scale social restrictions (PSBB).
The second phase of the PSBB has been in place since Sept. 14.
"We welcome the support from Good Doctor. We see that telemedicine services have played a crucial role in overcoming the problem of distance and access to health services during this pandemic. This helps in our efforts to reduce the spread of COVID-19 in Jakarta,” the deputy governor for the population and settlement control sector, Suharti, said during the launch of the program on Sept. 22.
The program, which will run until Oct. 22, enables Jakartans to access special health services on the Grab application, including free shipping for health products, discounts of up to 50 percent for vitamin products as well as maternal and child products, and special prices for purchasing medical masks.
The Jakarta Health Office recorded confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the capital city reached 57,796 people as of Sept. 21, making it one of the provinces with the highest number of COVID-19 cases in Indonesia.
