fter defeating Itsuki “Android 18” Hirata in ONE X last March, Jihin Radzuan has finally cracked into the top five of women’s atomweight ranks in ONE Championship. That result also extended her win streak to three fights in a row.
Following the win over a strong opponent, Radzuan has shared in an interview that she wants to settle an old score with a former dance partner Denice Zamboanga.
The Malaysian mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter said that she wanted another crack at the Filipina whom she met in 2019 to avenge her loss. Zanboanga made her debut when she beat Radzuan with a unanimous decision.
“I think it would be a rematch against Denice Zamboaga, the last time we met I think was a very close match,” Radzuan said. “And if I win this time, I would be avenging my loss from the last time.”
The two athletes were a stylistically match in their first faceoff, but with two years between the last time they met in the circle and the adjustment Radzuan has made to her game plan recently, it will be interesting to see what the two fighters can offer each other in their second meeting.

“Shadow Cat” established herself as one of the top athletes to watch out for in the division after earning a three-fight win streak right after her debut. It was not long after that that she was in the talk for a title shot, but it was squandered when another Filipina prospect, Gina Iniong, snapped her streak.
Although she got back to the win column after beating Jomary Torres, Radzuan had to reform her game plan once again when Zamboaga handed her another defeat. Now that she is riding her winning high, she wants to reclaim the loss and sterel="nofollow"p closer to a title shot.
