The Asian Football Confederation and Thai football officials have vowed to investigate the violent scenes between the two sides. Thailand ended the final with eight players on the field.
Thai football chiefs apologised on Wednesday and promised "severe punishments" for wrongdoers after brawls marred the football final against Indonesia in Cambodia.
"The association would like to express its disappointment and apologise for the chaotic incident that occurred off pitch," the TFA said in a statement.
"Especially the staff and coach who representative all Thais, during every minute of their duty, they must maintain their calm emotions under high pressure.
Putting the controversy to one side, the Indonesian squad paraded through central Jakarta in an open-top bus branded with the word "CHAMPIONS".
