Finally solving the 2017 acid attack against KPK investigator Novel Baswedan has become a priority for President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo, who said on Friday he had given new National Police chief Gen. Idham Azis until December to solve the case.
Idham expressed his commitment to solving cases that had raised public concerns, including terrorism, land and forest fires and the unsolved acid attack against Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) top investigator Novel Baswedan.
The newly appointed Jakarta Police chief Insp.Gen. Idham Azis has vowed to combat drug dealers, especially those from other countries, and will take responsibility for his subordinates’ actions if they shoot alleged drug traffickers during raids.
