One of the showcasing designers, Risza Novianty from fashion house SAO by Risza, uses recycled plastic bottles as a main material. The plastic bottles were processed and combined with traditional woven cloth with natural coloring.

Renowned Indonesian designer Edward Hutabarat encourages people to have more knowledge about the striped woven material lurik by holding a photography, video and installation exhibition as well as a fashion show. Entitled Tangan-Tangan Renta Lurik Indonesia, the exhibition is held for six days from Aug. 23 to 28 at Pelataran Ramayana, Hotel Indonesia Kempinski Jakarta.
