View all search resultsA 5 meter long python was found in the Moorkervart River in Kalideres, West Jakarta, on Tuesday afternoon by environment agency water management workers. The workers released the snake, as it was in a poor condition and they feared it would die in their care.
The heavy rain over the past few days in Jakarta have caused floods forcing yet more snakes into residential areas. A 3-meter python was caught in North Jakarta on Sunday night, after a resident reported the sighting to the North Jakarta Fire and Rescue Agency.
