View all search resultsReversing course, the House of Representatives on Wednesday pushed the government to immediately make a decision on importing used Japanese trains to replace the aging fleet currently used in the Greater Jakarta Commuter Line (KRL) network.
The Agriculture Ministry’s Quarantine Agency (Barantan) announced that 1,940 tonnes of quarantined imported goods, which had been detained for 35 days, had finally passed health inspections and been released from facilities.
The government wants to boost the manufacture of local substitutes for mostly imported goods like air conditioners, washing machines, personal computers, printers, LED lamps, fiber-optic cables and digital cameras.
