The Voice Indonesia’s Mario Gerardus Klau to perform in NTT

N
orth Central Timor regency in East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) is set to host the Wonderful Indonesia concert on June 19 at Libas beach, North Insana district, with the aim of attracting tourists from Timor Leste.
Among the singers slated to perform is The Voice Indonesia 2016 Mario Gerardus Klau. The 19-year-old was born in Maumere, NTT, and is very well known in Timor Leste.

Klau held a concert at Betun field in Malaka, NTT, on May 12, attracting thousands of fans from the small nation.
“We want to concert to be like the one in Malaka, having more than 1,000 tourists from Timor Leste crossing the border to witness the performance of Mario Gerardus Klau. Apart from Klau, the concert will also feauter other local performers from Timor,” said the Tourism Ministry’s deputy for domestic tourism marketing, Esthy Reko Astuti. (asw)
