The Immigration Directorate General is set to release the Passport Queue 2.0 app on May 28 at the Google Play Store.
According to Antara, the app will feature an interactive calendar, allowing passport applicants to check the available quota on a desired date.
The calendar will be marked in different colors indicating quota availability, public holidays and chosen date.

However, for the time being, the app can only be used at immigration offices in Bali; the Ngurah Rai Special Class I Immigration Office, Denpasar First Class Immigration Office and Singaraja Class II Immigration Office.
Immigration traffic director Cucu Koswala said during "Operators of Online Passport Queue Application Training" that the three immigration offices had been chosen for a trial run as they have had high numbers of passport applicants, making it easier to conduct an evaluation.
Following the evaluation, Passport Queue 2.0 app will be used in all immigration offices. (jes/wng)
