T

he Yogyakarta city administration is operating a sightseeing double-decker bus called Domapan to cater to holidaymakers during Idul Fitri.

Available for free from June 9 to 23, the bus departs from Taman Pintar and travels along Jl. Suryatmajan, Jl. Mataram, Jl. Malioboro, Jl. Margo Mulyo and Jl. Senopati before returning to Taman Pintar.

As reported by Antara, the bus operates once a day starting at 10 a.m. from Taman Pintar. Due to heavy traffic along the route, the bus travels at a slow pace, about 10 kilometers per hour.

"That's why we choose [to operate the bus at] 10 a.m., which is when traffic is not so heavy," said Yogyakarta Tourism Agency's Taman Pintar division head, Afia Rosdiana.

Additionally, the city is scheduled to host gamelan performances at Tugu KB Taman Parkir Abu Bakar Ali on June 17 to 19.
