The Alila Solo hotel is to host a special event called Kembali Tempoe Doeloe (Back to the Old Days) during Earth Hour.
lila Solo, a luxurious accommodation in Surakarta, Central Java, plans to join the global Earth Hour campaign on March 30 from 8:30 to 9:30 p.m.
This time around, the hotel is to host a special event called Kembali Tempoe Doeloe (Back to the Old Days).
According to a press release, the event intends to bring guests back to the era of the Surakarta Sultanate, aka the Solo Kingdom, by featuring Javanese food, music and dance.

Located at the hotel’s Largo Poolside, guests would be able to enjoy the sounds of gamelan and fire dancing in a venue decorated with torches and candles.
Meanwhile, the food is to be presented on simple platters, inspired by traditional markets, offering guests a one-of-a-kind experience.
Admission to Kembali Tempo Doeloe is priced at Rp 188,000 (US$13.20) net per person and it is scheduled to start at 6 p.m. (jes/kes)
