A bus stop in Jumunjin became the number one destination for BTS fans in a recent poll.
recent poll revealed that a bus stop has been voted the most popular travel destination for fans of popular South Korean group BTS.
Yonhap reported that the Hyangho Beach Bus Stop, located in the Jumunjin district of Gangneung, Gangwon province, ranked first in Korea Tourism Organisation’s popularity poll of BTS filming locations in Korea.
The bus stop, now known as "Bangtan Bus Stop” by fans, was where the group’s You Never Walk Alone album cover was shot. It also appeared on their “Spring Day” music video.

The poll involved 22,272 fans in 137 countries, and the result showed Busan’s Dadaepo Beach in second place, followed by Metasequoia Road in Damyang in South Jeolla Province, Line Friends flagship store in Seoul's Itaewon neighborhood and Iryeong Station in Yangju.
Women made 94.8 percent of the respondents, with younger fans favoring Jumunjin while older ones preferred Itaewon and Damyang.
An official from KTO said, "The SNS promotion of the popular BTS filming locations will be further strengthened, and a variety of relevant tourism programs will be developed.” (vit/wng)
