A 41-year-old woman who was an Airbnb guest at the home was wounded in the barrage and briefly hospitalized, the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office said.
Police so far have arrested five teenagers in connection with the shooting and charged them with murder and aggravated assault with deadly weapons.
The Bexar County Sheriff's Office announced over the weekend that 17-year-old Johnny Bermea had been charged with felony deadly conduct with a firearm.
Another 14- and 15-year-old were arrested and charged with deadly conduct with a firearm. The four minor teenagers arrested have not been identified by police.
The Indonesian Consulate General in Houston has received a request from Novita's family in Semarang, Central Java, for the repatriation of her remains.
The consulate said in a statement that it had worked with Texas authorities to arrange the return of Novita's body.
"We have worked with the Texas Secretary of State to ask for assistance in expediting the administrative process involved in bringing her remains home, including the issuance of a death certificate," Indonesian Consul General in Houston Andre Omer Siregar said in a statement.
