orld-class education, healthcare, public infrastructure, cleanliness, and safety are some of the key attractions of Singapore. These are also what contributes to the high quality of life in the vibrant cosmopolitan city.

If you are looking for a holiday home or investment property, Alba in Singapore could be one to consider.

Developed by Far East Organization, the largest private property developer in Singapore, Alba is a freehold luxury residences that is a short stroll from the prime Orchard Road shopping belt (District 9).

An architectural masterpiece by Bernardo Fort-Brescia of Arquitectonica, whose well-known projects include the W Hotel in Miami, the Bronx Museum in New York and the Microsoft Europe Headquarters in Paris, Alba stands out with its distinctive Y-shaped architecture. Living in the high-floor units will also reward you with far-reaching city views.

Alba’s location at Cairnhill Rise, a unique micro location on higher ground, provides added privacy and serenity in the heart of Orchard Road. It is within walking distance of Mount Elizabeth Hospital (Orchard) and Paragon retail mall. Alba is also within close proximity to three MRT stations, namely Orchard, Somerset and Newton, connecting the Thomson East Coast Line, Downtown Line and North South Line.

Investment-wise, property portal EdgeProp.sg laid out a chart showing how prices have performed in the Cairnhill enclave versus Singapore’s Urban Redevelopment Authority’s (URA) Core Central Region (CCR) from the first quarter of 2015 until January2020. The price trend showed that the Cairnhill enclave out performed the CCR with a steeper price increase because new supply in the area is rare.

Edge Prop explained that there had only been two collective sales sites in the first half of 2018, indicating the lack of supply in the area.

“The new supply in the pipeline is also low, which means interest and new launches there should be healthy,” the portal wrote.
