New LG Macaron refrigerator lends fresh color to modern kitchens

T LG Electronics Indonesia has launched the LG Macaron refrigerator in Indonesia, a month after announcing its readiness to commence local production of the new refrigerator model, which combines the South Korean brand’s technological innovations with fresh hues inspired by the delicate French cookie.
"The choice of unique colors that bring a sense of freshness, combined with advanced technological innovations in maintaining the freshness of various foodstuffs, makes the LG Macaron refrigerator a comprehensively fresh package for Indonesian families’ kitchens," said Kris Lee, Product Marketing Director of Home Appliances at LG Electronics Indonesia.
According to Lee, the color range of the LG Macaron refrigerator reflects modern families’ growing interest in interior design elements that represent their lifestyle and character.
Offering prospective customers the option to create a uniquely individual kitchen, the new LG Macaron refrigerator comes in three colors: Nature Beige, a prominent shade of white ivory, Clay Pink, a muted rosy hue, and Clay Mint, a fresh turquoise tone. Regardless of their preference, each shade will strengthen the dynamic, modern feel of the contemporary kitchen.
Prospective customers will also have four choices in storage capacity. The smallest net capacity of the LG Macaron is 315 liters, and runs up to a maximum capacity of 395 liters. Power consumption is no problem whatever the capacity, as the two-door, top-freezer refrigerator is equipped with an inverter compressor that makes it energy-efficient.
In terms of performance, the LG Macaron refrigerator has a proven ability to maintain the freshness of the foods stored inside, thanks to the combination of two distinctively renowned LG innovations.
Linear Cooling, LG's trademarked cooling technology, pumps and controls the flow of cold air throughout the entire compartment, ensuring that temperature changes in the refrigerator occur at a low dynamic level.
Linear Cooling works in conjunction with LG's Door Cooling technology that, as its name implies, ensures that the temperature of the door shelves is as cool as the temperature at the rearmost part of the main storage compartment.
“These two key LG technologies represent the results of our long research into preserving the freshness of foodstuffs. Not only [by] focusing on cooling, but also keeping the storage temperature at a low dynamic range,” Lee explained.
In addition to its stylish colors and advanced cooling technologies, the LG Macaron refrigerator is even more attractive, as it is produced in Indonesia for both the domestic and export markets. LG’s Indonesian facility is the regional base for producing the LG Macaron to meet the demand of foreign markets, with the new refrigerator destined for Asian countries including the company’s home country of South Korea.
LG’s local facility was "a production base that, at the same time, puts Indonesian consumers at the forefront of the group of countries that enjoy new trends bringing freshness to the modern kitchen", Lee emphasized.
The LG Macaron refrigerator will soon be available across the country at various electronics stores and leading online marketplaces, at prices ranging from Rp 7 million to 8 million.
