azz enthusiasts, get ready! Jakarta’s oldest jazz event, Jazz Goes to Campus (JGTC), is set to return for its 47th edition on Nov. 17 at the University of Indonesia’s (UI) Faculty of Economics and Business.

Under the title, LPS Presents the 47th Jazz Goes to Campus, the event celebrates its 47th year with the Deposit Insurance Corporation (LPS) as its primary sponsor.

Carrying the theme of "Weaving Jazz in Every Symphony," the event seeks to bring the jazz community together while promoting the growth of Indonesia’s music industry, promising diverse performances that blend the rich history of jazz with modern sounds.

This year's star-studded lineup will perform across four stages, and includes international sensation Jeremy Passion alongside local favorites, such as Raisa, Reza Artamevia, Maliq & D’Essentials, Nadin Amizah, Bernadya and Juicy Luicy, catering to long-time jazz enthusiasts and casual listeners alike.

In the lead-up to the main event, JGTC held a series of pre-events such as the UI Roadshow, Workshop & Community Night and Sorak Sorai di Melawai (Cheers in Melawai).

The final pre-event, a press conference followed by Sarinah Jazz Night, took place on Sept. 21 and featured a discussion titled "Jazz in the Modern Symphony: Shaping Soundscapes and Embracing Diversity", with Tourism and Creative Economy Minister Sandiaga Uno, JGTC co-founder Candra Darusman and musician Sandhy Sandoro as panelists.

Mark your calendars and don’t miss this iconic festival! Come and immerse yourself in the vibrant world of jazz at LPS Presents The 47th Jazz Goes to Campus!
