handong Heavy Industry Group (SDHI) participated in the 24th Indonesia International Construction Machinery and Mining Exhibition (CON-MINE), establishing an integrated intelligent operation matrix covering dozing, excavating, loading, hauling, compacting and power generation, and showcasing complete mining construction equipment and smart mining solutions.

Held from Sept. 9 to 12 at JIEXPO Convention Center in Jakarta, SDHI brought five core brands under the group, consisting of Weichai, Sinotruk, Shacman, Shantui and Lovol.

In his speech during the opening ceremony, vice president of SDHI Zhang Gengsheng stated that green, low-carbon, intelligent, efficient, safe and energy-saving development has become the core theme of global mining transformation and upgrading.

“In the future, SDHI will always adhere to customer satisfaction and win-win cooperation, further increase its strategic layout and resource investment in Southeast Asia, accelerate deep localization in R&D, manufacturing services, finance and other areas, and work with partners to explore greener, smarter and more efficient new models of mining development, contributing to the sustainable development of the regional economy, environment and society,” he said.

At the exhibition, SDHI showcased a series of equipment and full-operation-chain solutions highly adapted to Indonesian mining conditions.

WEICHAI POWER exhibited a full range of products covering fuel power, power batteries, and energy storage and recharging, comprehensively covering mining power supply and energy supporting scenarios and providing full-chain technical support for the electrification transformation of mining equipment.

SINOTRUK presented a full spectrum of mining transport equipment, matching different mining transport scenarios with diversified powertrain paths while balancing high availability and operational economy.

SHACMAN’s heavy-duty mining dump truck features a reinforced frame and a mining-specific chassis, highly adapted to complex mining conditions involving multiple slopes and frequent starts and stops.

SHANTUI built a full-process mining engineering equipment matrix covering overburden stripping, high-efficiency excavation and loading, hauling and dumping, road repair and compaction, with dedicated tuning for Indonesia’s biofuel characteristics and high-temperature, dusty working conditions.

LOVOL presented a complete integrated mining construction solution, combining three core advantages of low-carbon and energy-saving, high-efficiency heavy-load operation and localized adaptation.  This further strengthens its operational capabilities at the extraction end of large open-pit mines, meeting the high-capacity production needs of mining areas.

After years of deep cultivation in the Southeast Asian market, SDHI has established a marketing and service network and a spare parts support system covering the entire territory of Indonesia. The group has also reached a new round of strategic cooperation with several leading Indonesian mining enterprises in areas such as product procurement, technical services and localized operations.

Looking ahead, the group will continue to anchor its global development direction, further deepen its presence in core Southeast Asian markets, expand regional business layout channels, deepen localized operations and services and promote the upgrade from product export to industrial rooting.

With technical accumulation across the entire industrial chain, it will closely align with local mining development needs, accelerate the deployment and application of green and intelligent equipment, and work with partners to explore more efficient, cleaner and more sustainable new models of mining development.
