month after Ira Noviarti resigned as president director of Unilever Indonesia, two executives of the fast-moving consumer goods firm, Shiv Sahgal and Sandeep Kohli, have also tendered their resignations.
"Mr. Shiv Shagal and Mr. Sandeep Kohli's departure from their respective positions as company directors was [for] personal reasons," Unilever Indonesia director and corporate secretary Nurdiana Darus told the Financial Services Authority (OJK) on Friday.
Ira also cited personal reasons for her resignation.
Unilever will discuss the resignation of both directors in a shareholders' meeting on Dec. 19.
Nurdiana said the resignation of the three executives would not inhibit the company's performance.
As of Monday afternoon, the company’s website still listed Shagal as director of home care and Kohli as director of beauty and well-being.
While Unilever did not disclose the specific reasons for their resignation, they may be related to an ongoing boycott in Indonesia of Western companies thought to be benefiting the state of Israel, directly or indirectly, during its offensive against the Gaza Strip.
