he Danantara Housing Expo 2026 recorded around Rp 2 trillion in completed transactions, against its Rp 10 trillion overall transaction target.
The property expo, organized by state asset manager Danantara and the Public Housing and Settlements Ministry, ran from Aug. 27 to 30 at the Nusantara International Convention Exhibition (NICE) in PIK 2, Tangerang, Banten.
“So, the overall total we expected was Rp 10 trillion, but transactions that have already taken place amounted to Rp 2 trillion,” he said on Sunday, as quoted by Bisnis.
Dony said the Rp 2 trillion figure represented completed transactions during the expo and did not include bookings and potential follow-up sales, which could still bring the total transaction value to Rp 10 trillion.
Previously, Danantara said it was targeting housing sale and purchase agreements worth between Rp 6 trillion and Rp 10 trillion during the Danantara Housing Expo 2026.
The expo had showcased 360,000 homes from 130-plus developers, with down payments from 1 percent, mortgage rates from 2.75 percent and tenors of up to 30 years.
Housing and Settlement Areas Minister Maruarar Sirait said the Rp 2 trillion figure represented transactions using various housing financing schemes, including loans from state-owned banks under the Himbara group Bank Mandiri, Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BRI), Bank Negara Indonesia (BNI) and Bank Tabungan Negara (BTN), as well as commercial and subsidized financing offered by developers, as reported by Kompas.com.
