A list of must-download local apps that answer everybody’s unique needs, from financial management to veterinary services.
The year 2022 saw an increasing number of new applications created by local talents. Here are five applications to download, ranging from financial management to digital-health ecosystem for pets.
Enevti
Enevti is a social media and non-fungible token (NFT) marketplace. The application allows creators to interact with fellow creators and buyers through their chat features. For example, buyers of NFT can make a video call and get an exclusive present from the NFT creator.
Enevti also has a feature called Creator Finance, where fans can support their favorite creators through “staking”. It allows fans to deposit a cryptocurrency in a blockchain network and receive rewards for not selling the cryptocurrency while staked. As such, fans will be rewarded the token along with the royalty from the sold NFT creator.
The application is developed by Jakarta-based 27-year-old lawyer Aldo Suhartono Putra, who recently won the most-innovative social-media CEO at the Asia-Pacific (APAC) Insider CEO of the year 2022.
“When the [Picture of Proof] PFP market fell, the access and utility of NFTs actually increased by 13 percent. This presentation means that utility is increasingly relevant for the NFT industry in the future,” Aldo said. PFP is a generative-avatar artwork designed to be displayed as a person's social-media profile picture.
