nother roast lab is brewing in the bustling capital of Jakarta as Expat.Roasters, renowned for its specialty coffees, has unveiled its latest haven for caffeine enthusiasts, marking the brand's second venture outside Bali.
Located on the 13th floor of the Jakarta Mori Tower on Jl. Jenderal Sudirman, Expat.Roasters Jakarta opens its doors seven days a week from 7 a.m., beckoning coffee enthusiasts to savor not just a cup of coffee but an immersive journey of coffee culture.
"This has been seven years in the making, and we are incredibly excited to bring Expat.Roasters to Jakarta," says Shae Macnamara, founder and CEO of Expat.Roasters.
"This city's vibrant energy and love for coffee make it the perfect destination for our latest brew bar and we look forward to servicing the city not only at our brew bar, but also through our trusted partners.”
Its commitment to quality, innovation and education is shown through its continuous legacy of offering a diverse range of meticulously sourced coffee beans from Indonesia and around the world. In addition, Expat. Roasters also offers a curated all-day dining menu showcasing international dishes celebrating local flavors and produce.
More than just a brew bar, Expat.Roasters Jakarta promises a captivating blend of modern aesthetics and warm hospitality. Architecturally designed by WHAstudio in collaboration with the Sydney-based X plus O Design Studio, the 100 square meter coffee sanctuary transcends the conventional, creating a fusion of contemporary aesthetics that captures both the essence of Bali’s charm and Jakarta's urban landscape.
“Curating the design for Expat.Roasters, Jakarta's latest coffee shop, was once again a great experience. Our aspiration was to transcend the conventional and create a fusion of contemporary aesthetics that transports the essence of Bali to the heart of Jakarta's urban landscape, all while following the strong brand guidelines of Expat. Roasters.
“The design journey embraced the challenge of crafting an oasis within the bustling walls of an office high-rise. The contemporary design elements, with their natural textures, evoke the feeling of Bali's charm and tranquility in Jakarta, offering customers an escape from the city," said Wilson Harkhono, principal architect at WHAstudio.
