Alila Seminyak partners with Giving Bag to benefit Bali’s local communities

A

s part of its support for local communities in Bali, Alila Seminyak has entered a partnership with Giving Bag, an award-winning charitable amenity for hotels and brands aiming to make a positive impact for communities in need.

The collaboration between Alila and Giving Bag will allow hotel guests to easily donate unwanted or gently used items, which will then be collected and donated to local  foundations in Bali.

Since its inception in 2013, Giving Bag has been partnering with hotels around the globe, with an aim to prevent waste and facilitate donations to those in need. The initiative not only benefits those in need, but also adds value to the local community and the brand.

Alila Seminyak director of marketing and communications Adi Putrayasa expressed his  excitement about the collaboration.

"We are thrilled to work with Giving Bag to support our local  communities in Bali. Our guests now have the opportunity to make a difference seamlessly  during their stay, leaving a lasting positive impact.”

Guests at Alila Seminyak will find Giving Bag labeled bags in their rooms, where they can  place unwanted or gently used items. These items will be considered as charity items when  handed over to the Alila Seminyak host team upon departure and will later be donated to local foundations. By participating in this initiative, guests not only contribute to a good cause but also experience the  joy of giving back while enjoying their stay at Alila Seminyak.

Nestled just steps away from the Indian Ocean, Alila Seminyak boasts the largest stretch of Seminyak, offering an awe-inspiring experience that is committed to environmental sustainability and promoting wellbeing.

With 176 spacious rooms and suites, including the three-bedroom Alila Penthouse with a private pool overlooking the ocean, guests are immersed in luxury and tranquility. Each accommodation features a private terrace or balcony, offering mesmerizing views and tranquility, all just steps away from the black sand Petitenget Beach in Seminyak.
