Pertamina Patra Niaga embraces clean energy era at GIIAS 2024

T Pertamina Patra Niaga is ready to embrace the clean energy era at the Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) 2024. With a spirit of innovation and commitment to sustainability, Pertamina Patra Niaga introduced various initiatives and clean energy products supporting the development of the national automotive industry.

Pertamina Patra Niaga president director Riva Siahaan declared the company's commitment to support the growth of Indonesia's automotive industry through the provision of clean energy during the opening ceremony of GIIAS. The event was inaugurated by Vice President Ma'ruf Amin on July 18, 2024, at ICE BSD City in Tangerang.

“We realize that the future of transportation lies in environmentally friendly energy. Therefore, we continue to innovate to provide cleaner and more efficient fuels. Our participation in GIIAS 2024 is a tangible expression of this commitment,” Riva said.

Pertamina Patra Niaga introduced its flagship products, which include low-emission fuels and renewable energy designed to support electric and hybrid vehicles, at GIIAS 2024.

“We are presenting a range of renewable energy fuel products such as Pertamax Green 95 and our blended fuel products, which include renewable energy to prepare for the green energy transition in Indonesia,” Riva said.

Riva further explained that other downstream infrastructure presented by Pertamina Patra Niaga included the Green Energy Station (GES), Charging Stations for electric cars and Battery Swapping Stations for electric motorcycles.

“Pertamina's presence at GIIAS this time is aimed to provide green energy solutions that align with the automotive trend of a need for low-emission fuel standards. Our products and services meet these needs of the public for their vehicles with high quality,” he added.

The initiative aligns with Pertamina's vision to become a world-class and sustainable national energy company. By continually driving innovation and green technology implementation, Pertamina Patra Niaga strives to minimize environmental impact while meeting the energy needs of Indonesian society.

“Pertamina Patra Niaga is fully committed to achieving net-zero emissions (NZE) by 2060. We continue to prepare various strategic steps to support this goal, such as enhancing energy efficiency at GES and innovating in green technology. These measures seek not just to reduce carbon emissions, but to also ensure sustainable energy for future generations,” Riva continued.

With these strategic steps, Pertamina Patra Niaga is confident in becoming a pioneer in the clean energy transition in Indonesia and making a significant contribution to achieving NZE by 2060.

“We believe that through collaboration with various parties in the automotive industry, we can realize a greener and more sustainable future. Pertamina Patra Niaga is committed to leading this energy transition,” Riva concluded.

Pertamina Patra Niaga invites the public and industry players to visit Pertamina's booth at GIIAS 2024 from July 18 to 28, 2024, which offers various exciting activities and promotions.

Pertamina corporate communications VP Fadjar Djoko Santoso said Pertamina remained committed to developing clean energy in Indonesia.

“Pertamina continues to innovate in utilizing natural resources for accelerating the energy transition,” Fadjar said.
