n Sept. 26, 2024, Lia Alizia was honored with the prestigious Jurisdictional Awards and named Indonesia Female Lawyer of the Year at the 2024 Asialaw Awards held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Lia Alizia stood out among six other female Indonesian lawyers in this category.
The event, attended by renowned legal professionals from across Asia, is a prestigious recognition of Lia Alizia’s exceptional contributions and excellence in the legal field in Indonesia. The award was given in acknowledgment of her dedication, professionalism and commitment to providing top-quality legal services to her international clients.
Asialaw Awards is one of the most prestigious legal events in Asia, recognizing leading law firms and legal practitioners based on their performance in their respective jurisdictions. In 2024, Asialaw introduced three new award categories, one of which is the Jurisdictional Female Lawyer of the Year Award for each country, including Indonesia. This year, there were seven female nominees from Indonesia. For Lia Alizia, this award solidifies the regional recognition of her significant contributions over nearly 25 years in Indonesia’s legal sector, including handling major cases with wide-reaching impacts.
