Conrad Bali celebrates International Coffee Day with exclusive mixologist collaboration

F

ive-star luxury resort Conrad Bali joined the global celebration of International Coffee Day on Oct, 1, offering guests a unique coffee experience that highlighted local specialty beans and expertise.

International Coffee Day, organized annually, brings together coffee lovers and industry professionals to honor the cultural and economic significance of coffee while raising awareness about responsible practices in coffee production.

As part of its celebration, Conrad Bali partnered with Nusantara Cold Brew for a special collaboration with its in-house mixologist, offering guests a curated selection of premium coffee blends and exclusive experiences.

Nusantara Cold Brew, a one-of-a-kind coffee liqueur, combines Indonesia’s finest coffee beans with modern cold-brewing techniques, delivering a rich-bodied coffee liqueur.

The event saw guests treated to innovative coffee creations from Conrad Bali's talented mixologist team, led by Gede Andika, bartender at Suku Restaurant, alongside Bacudewa Krisna, representing Nusantara Cold Brew, an expert mixologist with extensive experience across Bali's top resorts.

They collaboratively created four exclusive drinks featuring Nusantara Cold Brew in honor of International Coffee Day and Indonesia’s thriving specialty coffee scene.

This special collaboration was part of Conrad Bali’s 20th anniversary initiative, affirming the resort's commitment to supporting local suppliers and fostering meaningful partnerships with the local business community. As Conrad Bali celebrates two decades of excellence, International Coffee Day was the ideal event for the resort to highlight Indonesia’s rich coffee culture and local producers.

In line with Conrad Bali’s comprehensive sustainability initiatives, the events featured locally sourced Balinese coffee beans, known for their distinctive flavors and sustainable farming practices.

All takeaway orders were served using eco-friendly packaging, reinforcing the resort’s commitment to environmentally conscious practices.

“We are proud to celebrate International Coffee Day by showcasing the talents of our mixologists and partnering with Nusantara Cold Brew to honor Indonesia’s exceptional coffee culture. This event reflects our commitment to supporting local communities, promoting sustainable practices, and delivering exceptional guest experiences,” said Kevin Girard, general manager of Conrad Bali, expressing the resort’s enthusiasm for the event.
