T Permodalan Nasional Madani (PNM) once again demonstrated its appreciation for outstanding employees by presenting a reward in the form of a trip to South Korea. This year, the special recognition was given to Murwoto, a micro account officer (AOM) from Kediri, East Java, for his dedication and exceptional performance in supporting underprivileged families in developing their businesses.
Affectionately known as Oto, he is an inspiring figure from a humble background. His father is a shallot farmer and worked hard to send him to university. Through perseverance and hard work, Oto successfully completed his higher education with full support from his parents.
He decided to join PNM in 2021 and dedicated himself to helping small communities improve their living standards through economic empowerment and access to capital.
Upon learning that he was selected as one of 89 PNM employees to receive the travel reward to South Korea, Oto was deeply moved, as he had never imagined flying abroad.
“I was really shocked when I was informed that I had received the reward of a trip to Korea. It feels like a dream for a shallot farmer’s son to set foot in the Land of the Morning Calm,” he said emotionally.
PNM president director Arief Mulyadi expressed his appreciation for PNM employees from grassroots backgrounds who are willing to dedicate themselves to helping other families achieve a better life with PNM.
“We take great pride in having employees who strive to provide added value in assisting micro and ultra-micro customers. This award is a token of our appreciation for the commitment and contributions of selected PNM employees in empowering underprivileged women and small families who wish to develop their businesses,” said Arief.
According to Arief, account officers play a crucial role in providing guidance and education to customers, ensuring they gain the maximum benefits from PNM's services. Through perseverance and sincerity, they have successfully helped many families become more economically independent.
“This trip is not only meant to provide inspiration and new experiences for outstanding employees but also to serve as motivation for all PNM employees to continue contributing to the mission of grassroots economic empowerment,” Arief added.
PNM is committed to continuing to reward highly dedicated employees in carrying out their duties as part of the company’s efforts to create a dynamic and innovative work environment.
