Indonesia Decides

Despite the perceived betrayal by President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo and his family members, the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDI-P) has pledged that it will continue to support the government until the President’s second and final term ends in 2024.

The PDI-P, which has served as Jokowi’s political vehicle for decades, will not turn its back on him by taking a position of opposition during his remaining time in office, said party executive Djarot Saiful Hidayat.
