nstagram’s Snapchat-like feature, Stories, now enables users to save their posts and mute other people’s Stories with its latest version, 9.3.

Those who do not want to miss any posts from their Stories can now easily activate a “Save Shared Photos” button above the feature's interface, according to Social Media Today. Both videos and photos will be saved directly in the smartphone storage whenever they were added to the users’ Stories.

Meanwhile, those who feel their feed is too crowded can opt to activate a mute button on another user’s Story profile, which will automatically push that user’s account into latest queue of your Stories.

Instagram now also provides multiple colors, which can be use whenever the users want to input text.

Available since August, Stories allows users to post pictures or videos, decorate them with text and graphics and share them for 24 hours before the post disappears. (kes)
